The Danforth
New construction off the Hudson River gives a country feel with close proximity to Manhattan. The Danforth Apartments was part of a reimagined neighborhood developed to become a walkable enclave in the suburbs of Manhattan. The site was full of deteriorating buildings from a former industrial tenant, and it was then transformed into 202 units to complement the adjacent retail and entertainment developments. Situated within a wooded site, the residential building wraps a parking garage and has two interior landscaped courtyards for residential use. The building was designed to take advantage of the neighboring landscape with a focus on peaceful views and serene living while being a short train ride from downtown New York City.
The residences are designed for spacious open concept living with luxurious finishes. A residential amenity space provides residents with community areas to meet with neighbors around a floor-to-ceiling glass-enclosed fire place. The property also incorporates a pool overlooking the surrounding nature and meandering walking paths around the site.
